During COVID-19, The Urban Ecological Arts Forum at The Nature of Cities is bringing to life online exhibition spaces, highlighting current exhibitions on urban ecological themes that were canceled or are \u201con view\u201d but impossible to experience due to the closure of cultural facilities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><i><figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><\/i><a style=\"font-style: italic;\" href=\"https:\/\/charity.gofundme.com\/o\/en\/campaign\/tnoc-live-art-gallery\">We are hosting a GoFundMe campaign specially for these galleries, to support artists who lost shows to Covid-19.<\/a><i><\/blockquote><\/figure>75% of your donation will go directly to the artists and curators, and 25% to support the continued existence of the online gallery project. Give whatever you can, but please come see the shows, even if you do not choose to donate. Scroll down to see the shows currently on view. Katrine Claassens first saw one in a natural history museum here in Montreal. It was a small, faded specimen in the corner of a glass vitrine in the lobby. Its label said &#8220;disparu&#8221;\u2014 &#8220;disappeared&#8221; or extinct in French.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Every natural system on earth is now defined by human activity, with planetary boundaries being rapidly and dangerously breached.
