He is a retired State Treasury Fiscal Agent and has a Master of Political Economics from Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico. \r\n\r\nHe was leader of student representation entites during high school and college.\r\n\r\nElected three times as a State Deputy of Rio Grande do Sul, he served in the State Government as Special Secretary of the Government, when he coordinated the management of government priority projects and as Finance Secretary, when coordinated the renegotiation of the public debt of Rio Grande do Sul along with the Federal Government, and the projects Paguei, Quero Nota (I paid, I want invoice) e M\u00e3os Dadas (Holding hands).
