Over the last decade, Katie has worked as an ecologist in landscape, aquatic, coastal, and marine systems; as an environmental advocate working with rural communities abroad; as an environmental educator in both traditional and non-traditional classrooms; and as an urban planner and ecological designer with project work throughout the country.
