His Doctoral thesis \u201cPlaneta Ciudad: Ecolog\u00eda Urbana y Planificaci\u00f3n de Ciudades Medias de Brasil\u201d (City Planet: Urban Ecology and Planning of Medium-sized Cities in Brazil) is composed of three studies: one on the environmental management and planning capacity of the medium-sized cities in Brazil, and two on surveys about the floras (and their uses) found in urban backyards of different social classes. He is a researcher and permanent professor of the Master\u2019s degree course in Geography at UFMT, Rondon\u00f3polis campus - research line Geotechnology Applied to Environmental Management and Analysis.
