Andréa Albuquerque G. Redondo is an architect devoted to the study and analysis of building codes and urban laws especially related to Rio de Janeiro, and its consequences for the City development. Formerly Land Policy Secretary and President of Municipality Board for Cultural Patrimony Protection, Andréa is presently responsible for the Blog Urbe CaRioca where urban matters in Rio are the main issue. Andréa graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – FAUUFRJ (1975); Graduate / Specialization in Urban Planning at the FAUUFRJ (1990); Postgraduate Diploma in Government and Municipal Administration from National School of Urban Services, the Brazilian Institute of Municipal Administration – IBAM (1992.
