Arantxa Zamora-Rendon is a Mexican biologist born and raised in the southern part of Mexico City. Her passion for protecting Mexico’s cultural and natural heritage has led her to explore how people come together to care for nature—and why they choose the places they do. She’s especially curious about the relationships between people, place, and stewardship. Arantxa is the Latin America Coordinator for the STEW-MAP program, where she works to map and connect local efforts to care for green spaces across cities.
