Chris Morgan

Chris is a planner interested in parks and trails, land use planning, and geographic information systems (GIS). He works for the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance program as a Community Planner, partnering with local governments, nonprofits, and Indigenous Nations to support locally led conservation and outdoor recreation projects. Chris holds degrees in Geography and Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Northern British Columbia, respectively. He has previously worked in state government for both the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. He is based in Duluth, MN, USA.
