Dilek Himam

F. Dilek Himam served as a faculty member at Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Fashion and Textile Design between 2001 and 2025. She gives various workshops on natural dyeing, ethical collecting and ecoprinting. She is currently working as a consultant and executive in various projects on natural dye production. She continues to work on olive cultivation in her hometown of Gömeç, Balıkesir, in a small production area of dye crops and on the family farm.
