Gabino Carballo Pérez is a landscape architect and environmental agrobiologist with over 25 years’ experience in green infrastructure, urban biodiversity and sustainable landscape design. As Founding Partner and Project Coordinator at Natural Base Solutions SL, he specialises in the integration of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), biodiversity enhancement and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) in urban and peri-urban landscapes. His work spans public and private sector projects, combining design, technical consultancy, project management and ecological approaches to landscape transformation. Gabino is also an experienced writer, educator and international speaker, with a strong record of teaching and coordinating professional courses in landscape-related fields. His career includes significant work with Barcelona’s public green space system and recognised contributions to innovative approaches in landscape design, management and urban ecological resilience
