Jessica Lienhardt serves as the Great Lakes program director for the Council of State Governments’ (CSG) Midwest. In this position, she guides the many activities and services provided to state and provincial legislators through the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Legislative Caucus (GLLC) — a binational, nonpartisan organization of state and provincial legislators working together to protect the Great Lakes basin. Prior to joining CSG Midwest, she served as a public affairs officer at the Consulate General of Canada in Detroit, Michigan and as an assistant to the city manager in Brighton, Michigan Jess attained her master’s degree in public policy from Michigan State University and holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and history from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
