Lazare Duval

Lazare Duval’s work focuses on the study of relationships between humans and birds considered undesirable or problematic in urban spaces. More specifically, he examines pigeons, crows, and rooks in several cities in Western Europe (Switzerland, France). This research draws on approaches from animal geography, eco-ethnology, and ethnoethology. He uses interviews, ethnographic observations and hybridized ethological approaches within a social science framework.
