Lucas Períes es investigador y profesor universitario en las áreas de diseño urbano, paisaje y morfología urbano-arquitectónica. Posee títulos de Doctor en Arquitectura, Máster en Arquitectura Paisajista y de Arquitecto. Es codirector ejecutivo de la Iniciativa Latinoamericana del Paisaje LALI y fue director del Instituto del Paisaje de la Universidad Católica de Córdoba (2016-2021). Ha publicado numerosos libros y múltiples artículos científicos, con 6 distinciones en bienales y congresos internacionales por su labor teórica. Es artista visual, con participación en muestras y exposiciones artísticas (colectivas e individuales), receptor de 3 premios por su labor creativo. He holds a doctorate in Architecture, a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, and a professional degree in Architecture. He is the co-executive director of the Latin American Landscape Initiative (LALI) and previously served as director of the Landscape Institute at the Catholic University of Córdoba (2016–2021). He has published numerous books and scientific articles, receiving six awards at international biennials and conferences for his theoretical work. As a visual artist, he has participated in group and solo exhibitions and has received three awards for his creative work.
