Maria Cecilia Cherubini

Córdoba

Born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1970, she graduated as an architect from the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC) in 1994 and earned a Master’s degree in Architecture and Landscape Planning from the same university in 2018. She is a professor of Landscape Architecture at UCC and serves as Director of the Design Institute within the UCC’s Faculty of Architecture, where she conducts research and leads postgraduate courses in Creativity, Landscape, and Creative Processes. She also teaches the Landscape Infrastructure module in the UCC’s Master’s program in Landscape Architecture and leads a Creativity and Design Workshop at Siglo 21 University. She has participated in numerous competitions and won awards for her work in architecture and urban design. Creativity and landscape are the themes she has explored through continuous academic, theoretical, and practical study. She works as a freelance architect, and since 2006 she has run her own office where she builds, designs and manages various types of buildings such as individual and collective housing, hotels, schools, health buildings, shops, industries and park.
