Marjolein van der Loo
Maastricht
Marjolein van der Loo is a Dutch curator, researcher, and artist whose practice explores ecological relationships, collective learning, and embodied knowledge. She develops long-term, collaborative projects engaging with plants, landscapes, language, and feminist and decolonial thought. As Curator of Contemporary Art and Heritage at Museum Het Nieuwe Domein and Associate Curator at Onomatopee, she weaves storytelling, sensory experience, and critical reflection into exhibitions, workshops, and publications. Her work nurtures alternative ways of relating—to each other, to place, and to the more-than-human world—centering care, reciprocity, and resistance to extractive systems.
