I help translate Nature-based Solutions from concept into policy and practice — across Europe, Latin America, and wherever ecosystems and governance meet. I believe environmental action and social justice are inseparable. Ecosystems don’t recover in unequal societies, and climate policy that ignores who bears the burden, and who holds the power, will always fall short. I bring a Latin American perspective to European debates, a commitment to equity and inclusion in every process I design, and the conviction that lasting change is only possible when the people most affected have a seat at the table. At IUCN Bonn, I coordinate the European NbS Hub, contribute to the IUCN Global Standard for NbS, and work across regional offices, policymakers, and practitioners to make ecosystem restoration happen at scale.
