Kirk Enu is a scientist at the Laboratory of Landscape Development (LAND), Institute of Architecture (IA), School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning from the Technical University of Munich. His research focuses on planning and designing nature-based solutions for climate-resilient and sustainable urban environments, with a special interest in water-related ecosystems. His work integrates urban resilience theory, environmental governance and participatory landscape planning, employing spatial modelling and ecosystem-services analysis to bridge science and practice. He also serves as a board member of the World Water Council as youth delegate and contributes to global dialogues on water, climate and nature.
