Lisbet Christoffersen

Lisbet is a researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in the Landscape Management and Governance theme group at the Dept. of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management. She holds a PhD in Political Ecology from the University of Copenhagen. The Amazon region has been the main geographical study area, but the Nordic countries are now in focus. She is interested in governance aspects of participation, representation, power aspects and negotiations of policies and management of nature and natural resources, i.e. justice perspectives. Methods to engage and involve local communities in landscape planning and management is a central research area.
