Dagmar Haase is a professor of urban ecology at Humboldt University in Berlin. She is a guest scientist at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig. She specializes in urban systems analysis. Together with her team, she investigates ecosystem services, green infrastructure, and nature-based solutions in cities. Dagmar conducts research into biodiversity and urban resilience using field data, remote sensing, GIS and citizen science. Dagmar’s team collaborates with scientists worldwide on the effects of climate change in cities, particularly with regard to human and nature’s health.
